I think this thought is from the Essentialism book by Greg McKeown but I can really relate. The point is that I never do just one thing (I think I am not alone). For example, during my breakfast, I am eating, reading emails, checking social media ... just try to catch up with everything.
How can I enjoy my food if I don't even focus on it? Probably not much. I think it's pretty important to stop, take a deep breath and just enjoy the moment. It affects everything, you have a better feeling and you can really refresh yourself.
For example, I can see this on my boss with just a simple thing as a coffee. He drinks a lot during the day but he never takes a break. He always drinks it on the move or while he answers emails. It's just crazy if he could just relax and focus I would guess he wouldn't need so much caffeine cuz the effect of every coffee would increase. The experience would be simply better.
Sure you can apply this in all the directions of your life.
I wanna try it and do everything one by one with a better focus.
Will see if I am able to slow down.:)
