    @keni #2 & #7 -- join groups that are doing things you want to incorporate into your life: ToastMasters is a perfect example.

      @abrahamKim @brianball -hmm... I think that will cause some folks to worry too much. Culturally difficult to do.

      @keni - INFJ - the F - makes you one who feels deeply. Cultural, too, possibly, but ultimately, you're looking out for the feelings of others. It's important, however, that you also experiment to find what really works for you. The disappear for 30 days thing had me thinking - first, it just sounds like you need to put yourself first a little, and second, you might find you can get what you need with a little selfishness in 7 days rather than 30.

      @keni @brianball

      lmao i love how INFJs are so respectful for cultural and social connections... whereas ENFPs are like drunken haggards on fourwheelers

      @brianball - You may be on to something Brian. Project '7 days of selfishness' is overdue.

    @keni I can share a little about (11), from what I heard from very wise teachers. The endgame of meditation is not to stop thoughts, but to be alert and aware of each thought that comes along. Yes, there are some states of consciousness that one can go into with meditation where the mind quiets down, but those states are not seen to be 'better' than others - they are just different mental phenomena that one passes through as one meditates. Having a thousand thoughts can be a good thing! ;) Imagine doing a thousand reps of a workout. You'll get strong fast if you can be aware of every single of the thousand thoughts that arise.

      @jasonleow - My thoughts are erratic. I want my heart rate, focus and breathing to be calm and low. More importantly - I want to remember all my thoughts when I am beat a pen and paper..
      Thank you for your insight Jason.

      @keni I see I see. Hmmm I'm no meditation teacher so any advice is risky. I can only share from my own experience - anytime I tried to want anything out of the meditation, it makes it worse - harder to calm down, focus etc. Perhaps you can ask your teacher...

      @jasonleow - :) Teacher? People have meditation teachers? That is where I went wrong.
      I do not have a meditation teacher.

      @keni oh yeah, like yoga teachers, piano teachers, mountain guides. Meditation is like learning to navigate uncharted waters (of consciousness)...without a guide, you can sail around in circles.
