Tip for parents with young children
1. Set up a Gmail account for each kid.
2. Every time they say something cute/funny/annoying/impressive, send that email address a quick note about it.
3. Give them access to the account when they turn 18.
I saw this idea as a very brilliant one and wanted to give it a go. So my curious mind turned into a quick google search and the first thing I found a video that was made by Google - 5 years ago. Actually, it was an ad with a similar idea. It's a brilliant video. Go watch it here.
I have two kids. I have photos from when they were born up to this day. My first born is now 9 and the last is 5. How do I do this? This is what I find hard. Do I email all the pictures to their accounts, today or should I wait to start recording future events?
I have also searched for apps that could help me sending these notes from my phone instead of logging in from the gmail client side. One of these apps is Noto 2.
What do you think about this idea? Have you tried it before? let me know in the comment section - I
