Yes I can.
When I use the appropriate organic devices of mine, such as lips, tongue, vocal cords, etc., there are often sounds as a result.
Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't.
Sometimes other people like it, sometimes they don't.
People's appreciation do not necessarily match mine.
A few years ago, I took some singing courses. Jazz singing, with a few attempt to improvise. That was hard. Sometimes it was a disaster, but as the teacher was telling us, the right note is never further away than a semitone. We had fun. That was also a revealing experience, discovering that sounds can be emitted from different parts, down the throat or high the head, etc.
A few songs that I like to sing, or that I used to like:
- As Time Goes By
- On My Way (Cocoon)
- Love Hurts (I can't really do it, but I don't care)
- I Can't Smile Without You (our wedding duet, quite a success!)
- Seaside (the Kooks)
- Je l'aime à mourir (because she loves it)
- The Shadow of Your Smile
- The Long and Winding Road
- Mercedes-Benz (Janis)
Now, as I have just a few words to conclude, here's my pledge: I commit to sing a song on our next and first #StreakTeam meetup! 🙌😝
